Hey everyone!

Wow it has been a little bit since I have sent out a blog, it’s been a crazy start to summer! You’re probably wondering what’s up 🙂

So let’s start with an update from the past couple months. Let’s go back to May 25th, the day I successfully graduated! Such an amazing day and it was so unreal. WHOOO it feels so good to be done with that and off to my next journey! But I think that God showed me a lot through that day and I wanna go back and share a little bit about that with you. There was lots of joy and sadness as I began to realize the reality of the steps that we as a class were about to take. We were about to walk out of those halls that we had walked through for so many years and step into the REAL world. I realized that I had built up so much fear around that day and kind of stuffed it away because I was supposed to be excited, right?! But as it became more and more real and the reality of the fact that I will be leaving my friends and family for 9 months began to hit me. I began to have a lot of doubts and fears about what was next. I began to underestimate my ability to keep moving on with it and wondered if this was really the plan that God had for me. It didn’t take long for God to come swoop me up and continue to keep tapping as my heart using so many of you to speak truth into my life and everyone who showed me their generosity!! I am so thankful to so many of you that supported me through that. You all have been so very generous as you have helped continue to get closer and closer to my fundraising goal. From you all giving me money towards my trip on graduation day, I was able to raise about half of my goal!!!! That was honestly so incredible, GOD IS SO GOOD! I cannot thank you enough for the immense love and support that you have shown me.

God has continued to guide me and make me brave!! God is still working through me and as I still very often doubt him he continues to show me his blessings. They just keep coming 🙂 I was given the opportunity to go with a group of friends to Young Life Camp a couple weeks ago. It was there that God continued to remind me of his goodness and the ways that he works EVERYTHING for good. There was so much redemption and forgiveness done that week. In my heart and the hearts of others as we were able to be real and pour our lives out to one another. We came home with a new joy and purpose!!

I had the opportunity to speak in front of my home church and share about this journey that I am on. I was able to get another chunk of my $16,800 fundraised and the church helped me reach 95% fundraised!

And that’s not all!! I woke up this morning after being sick for 3 days, unable to get out of bed to my dad telling me that someone had come by the house to tell him that he wanted to anonymously cover the rest of my expenses. TODAY I AM FULLY FUNDRAISED!! Praise the Lord :)) & I don’t think I can ever say this enough but GOD IS SO VERY GOOD.

So many blessings and prayers answered as I head off to training camp next Tuesday on July 9th. I still am not packed but I’m working on it. I still have some last minute gear to buy in the next few days.

I would ask that you would continue to pray for me as I head into this next week and that God would guide my travel and bless my time in Georgia as I meet the rest of my crew!

Can’t thank you all enough!
